But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1John 1:7

Sewing Turkeys and Enjoying a Thanksgiving Feast

Everyone was hard at work sewing stuffed felt turkeys.
Is this how we do it?  What pattern do I use next? Does anyone have the black marker?  My needle got stuck in my string? Does anyone have the scissors? I think this was a new experience for some, but it was so much fun.
We prayed and thanked God for the meal and then everyone went around sharing what they were thankful for. It was fun to see how one little idea came out into many bigger ideas that made this a truly fun day.

Visiting the Zoo in October

Everyone picked their own animal to do a presentation on and then they shared it with everyone as we walked through the zoo together. The children seemed to enjoy listening to what everyone had to say about their animal.  It was a great experience in teaching them to be patience with one another and helped them to be more confident in sharing in front of others.

Then we visited the Chinese garden on our way to the park for lunch.  The kids seemed to enjoy jumping from rock to rock and watching the fish swim along side them.

Our day ended with lunch in the park and playing on the play ground.  The children seemed to create their own games and spent most of their time playing with one another.
